A look back at the past
It has been 35 years since women first joined the Mossos d’Esquadra. Inspector Rosa Gubianes, chief of the Equality and Equity Unit, was one of them. On 22 October 2021 she spoke at the Mossos d’Esquadra national ceremony, sharing stories and memories of that first cohort. She recalled some issues with the uniform and, most of all, the lasting companionship forged among all those women when they proudly joined the force.
